Enjoy this comic – featuring my husband!

I originally posted this on my Instagram page a few years back. It struck a chord with people. Maybe they enjoyed it because I was lampooning my husband in a cute and loving way, but they may also have liked it because they know it’s a real thing that happens.

Even he giggled endlessly at it, bringing me almost to the point of annoyance; He knows he does this kind of thing: grabbing the closest thing at hand to do a simple job, even if it isn’t practical. Based on the overall reaction to this comic, people can relate. I won’t even suggest that the offenders are all men (but you and I both know they are. 😄).
Later, when I posted the comic on Facebook, people reacted again with knowing laughter. One person responded, “I love how foolish you two are,” while others related to his love of sandwiches.

While I appreciate many things about our relationship, one key thing I’ve consistently recognized is how we’re never mean to one another, preferring gentle teasing instead.

The light ribbing never gets old. It reminds us of our flaws while helping us to laugh about them.
